Bhujodi Handwoven Cotton Dupatta -Ivory & Slate Stripe

Woven on pit looms in the weaving village of Bhujodi, Kutch, this dupatta carries the quiet confidence of a craft passed down through generations of the Vankar community.

Undyed ivory cotton forms the ground, crossed by slate-grey stripes that shift in rhythm — broad and steady through the body, then gathering into fine, closely-set bands at the pallu. Small extra-weft motifs, worked by hand at the loom, sit between them like punctuation. The finish is a row of hand-knotted tassels in ivory and slate.

The yarn is soft, breathable, and unmercerised, so it drapes without stiffness and grows more supple with every wash. Slubs and slight irregularities in the weave are inherent to handspun yarn and handloom weaving — they are the weaver's signature, not a flaw.

Pairs naturally with white cotton, indigo, or unbleached linen.

Wash Care

• Steam iron on medium while slightly damp, on the reverse side
• Dry clean recommended for longer life
