Woven on the banks of the Narmada. Maheshwari tissue is the lightest expression of this ancient craft — silk-cotton so finely woven it becomes almost translucent, shifting between gold and champagne as light moves across it.
This saree is woven in antique gold tissue with a feather-light, slightly sheer body that drapes with natural fluid fall. The pallu carries a subtle zari grid pattern — understated in daylight, radiant under evening light. Fine tassels finish the edge. In warm indoor lighting it glows molten gold; in natural daylight it softens to champagne.
Each saree is woven individually on a handloom. Slight variations in weave density and colour tone are part of the craft.
