Woven on the banks of the Narmada. Maheshwari tissue is the lightest expression of this ancient craft — silk-cotton so finely woven it becomes almost translucent, with a soft golden luminosity that no photograph quite captures.
This saree is woven in elegant olive green with a rich golden zari sheen running through the tissue. Smooth, slightly crisp in hand, with a soft glow. The pallu holds subtle shimmer and delicate zari detailing; the border is a minimal golden finish. Hand-finished tassels on the edge.
Each saree is woven individually on a handloom. Slight variations in weave density and colour tone are part of the craft.
