On a fine, breathable cotton base, the weaver builds the pattern not by printing or embroidery, but by weaving supplementary weft threads directly into the structure of the cloth. In daylight the motifs appear to float — luminous and slightly translucent — a quality weavers call "running water."

This saree is woven in pristine ivory, with delicate floral and trailing vine motifs in natural off-white thread across the body, building to a denser patterned border and pallu. Understated from a distance. Breathtaking up close.

Dry · flat in shade. The motif areas are structurally delicate when wet.
Iron · cotton/medium setting, reverse side only.
Storage · Fold in soft cotton muslin; re-fold along different lines every few months to prevent crease damage to the motif threads.
