From the looms of Banaras comes a suit set in a dusty rose organza with a natural sheen that shifts with the light. The kurta fabric is scattered with large floral buttis woven in two-tone ganga-jamuni zari, gold alongside silver, with small touches of meenakari in deep pink at their centres.

The dupatta is the showpiece. It has fine zari checks across the body, small meena buttis, and woven zari borders along both edges. Each end finishes in a wide striped pallu, then a hand-knotted crochet jaali edge with rose silk tassels.

It’s sheer and airy, but it holds its structure well. It suits Diwali gatherings, mehendi and haldi functions, or a festive lunch. Pair it with a cream or rose silk bottom for a soft tonal look, or with antique gold jewellery to lift the zari.

Each piece is woven by hand, so small irregularities in the weave and zari are part of its character, not flaws.

Rooted in Earth. Woven by Hand.

  • Store folded in a soft muslin or cotton cloth, away from direct sunlight and moisture.
  • Refold every few months along different lines so the zari doesn’t crack at the creases.
  • Keep away from perfume, deodorant and sprays, since they tarnish zari.
