Handwoven Cotton Jamdani — Sage Temple Weave
Handwoven Cotton Jamdani — Sage Temple Weave
Couldn't load pickup availability
A soft sage-green cotton Jamdani, woven with delicate white buti motifs scattered across the field and finished with striking temple-style borders. The triangular temple (tirchha) patterns and clean geometric bands are worked entirely by hand on the loom, giving the piece a quiet, understated elegance. The gentle green tone makes it effortless to style across seasons — from daytime gatherings to evening occasions.
Jamdani is among India's most intricate weaving traditions, recognised by UNESCO as an Intangible Cultural Heritage. Each motif is woven directly into the fabric as it is made — never printed, never embroidered. The result is a textile where no two pieces are ever exactly alike.
