Where flax meets light. A saree that holds the quiet of a forest and the shimmer of running water.

Woven from pure linen, this saree carries the deep, restful green of pine set against wide borders of silver tissue that catch the light with every fold. Linen is the oldest woven fibre known to humankind — spun from flax, breathable in heat, and growing softer and more lustrous with every wash and wear.

The body is a solid forest green with a fine handloom texture, framed by broad silver zari borders on both selvedges. The pallu deepens the story — bands of silver tissue interlaced with stripes that anchor the drape — finished with hand-knotted tassels in green and ivory. The saree comes with a contrasting turquoise blouse piece, striped in fine gold zari, offering a bright, considered counterpoint to the green.

A saree built for warm days and long evenings — light on the body, rich in presence.

Details
Fabric · 100% pure handwoven linen with tissue (zari) borders
Length · 5.5 metres + 80 cm blouse piece
Width · approx. 46 inches
Blouse piece · Included — contrasting turquoise with gold zari stripe
Border · Silver tissue, both selvedges
Pallu · Silver tissue bands with hand-knotted tassels
Craft · Handwoven on pit loom
Note · Slight slubs and irregularities in the weave are inherent to handwoven linen — a mark of the hand, not a defect.

Wash Care
First wash · Dry clean only for the first wash to protect the tissue borders.
Ongoing · Gentle hand wash in cold water with mild detergent. Wash separately.
Do not · machine wash, bleach, soak, tumble dry, or wring. Wringing damages the zari.
Dry · in shade, flat or on a wide padded hanger. Direct sunlight dulls the silver tissue over time.
Iron · on low–medium heat, reverse side, with a thin cotton cloth over the tissue borders. Iron while slightly damp.
Linen note · Linen creases naturally — this is part of its character. Light starching restores crispness if preferred.
Tissue note · Handle borders gently; the zari is delicate and best protected from rough surfaces and jewellery snags.
