This set is that weave in its quietest register. The kurta length is a warm mitti beige, run through with fine gold zari stripes along the selvedge and closed with a broad zari band at the hem. The dupatta is ivory, laid over in the delicate chaupadcheck the cluster is known for, with gold zari butis scattered across the field and a mitti-beige border framing all four sides. The pallu carries the border inward — twin zari bands, chevron detailing, a run of butis — and finishes in a hand-knotted fringe.
The palette is deliberate -earth against undyed cream, gold only where the light needs somewhere to land. It will take you from a workday to a wedding lunch without changing anything but your jewellery.
No two lengths are identical. Slubs, minor irregularities in the check, and small variations in the zari are the loom's signature, not a fault.

Wash care
First wash · Dry-clean recommended for the first wash to set the zari and stabilise the weave.
Thereafter · Hand wash separately in cold water with a mild liquid detergent. Do not soak beyond 5 minutes. Do not machine wash, bleach, or wring.
Zari · Keep perfume, deodorant, and hair spray off the zari — alcohol tarnishes it. Never scrub over the zari band.
Drying · Dry flat or on a padded line in the shade. Direct sun will dull the beige and yellow the ivory.
Ironing · Medium heat on the reverse side, with a cotton cloth over the zari.
Storage · Wrap in muslin, refold along a different line every few months so the zari does not crease along one point. Do not store in plastic.
