Woven on the handlooms of Maheshwar, on the banks of the Narmada, this unstitched suit set pairs a deep maroon kurta fabric with a luminous gold-beige dupatta, a combination that feels festive without being loud.
The kurta fabric has fine woven pinstripes in a subtle grid, with delicate zari lines that catch the light as you move. The dupatta is the highlight: light and airy with a soft natural sheen, finished with a chevron zari border on both sides and maroon pallu bands with gold stripes. Hand-knotted tassels complete the ends. A matching gold-beige striped bottom fabric ties the set together.
Maheshwari weaves are known for their lightness and gentle sheen. This set is easy to wear through a long festive day and elegant enough for weddings, pujas and Diwali gatherings.
