Deep olive, like a forest after the rains. It is printed by hand in Ajrakhpur, Kutch, where families have practised Ajrakh for generations.

The kurta panel carries a placement yoke of printed florals at the neckline. Rows of saru (cypress) motifs run down the body, framed by fine vertical lines that meet in a chevron at the hem. The dupatta brings in Ajrakh's architectural side. It has jaali-filled arches, bands of geometric medallions, and paisley borders, finished with shimmering woven stripes and hand-knotted tassels.

Each piece goes through many stages of resist printing, dyeing, and washing, and every block is pressed by hand. Small shifts in alignment and depth of colour are the signature of the hand. They are not flaws.

Linen breathes and softens with every wash. That makes this set easy to wear from humid afternoons to festive evenings.

Rooted in Earth. Woven by Hand.

Wash care

  • Dry clean for the first wash. After that, hand wash separately in cold water.
  • Use a mild, pH-neutral detergent. Avoid bleach and harsh soaps.
  • Some colour may bleed in the first few washes. This is natural for hand-dyed fabric.
  • Don't soak, wring, or scrub. Press gently between towels to remove water.
  • Dry in shade, inside out. Direct sun fades natural dyes.
  • Iron on medium heat while slightly damp. Iron the metallic stripes on the reverse or through a cloth.
  • Store folded in a cotton or muslin bag, away from damp. Refold occasionally.
