Rooted in Maheshwar, woven by hand. This three-piece unstitched set comes from the looms of Madhya Pradesh, where weavers have made Maheshwari textiles for more than 250 years.

The kurta fabric is a red with a fine woven stripe texture throughout. It gives the fabric a soft sheen that shifts in the light. A gold zari border with a zigzag weave finishes the edge, so you can use it at the hem or the sleeves.

The black bottom fabric has the same stripe texture and a matching zari border at the hem. It can be stitched as straight pants, palazzos or a salwar.

The black dupatta ties the set together. A maroon band edged with zari stripes runs across the pallu, and it ends in hand-twisted black and gold tassels.

The weave is light and breathable with a natural drape. It suits festive evenings, pujas and family occasions, and it works just as well for elevated office wear.
