Woven on the handlooms of Odisha, this Sambalpuri ikat dupatta carries the quiet confidence of true resist-dyed craft. A deep olive-green field is set against a vivid vermilion, where the two shades meet in a play of warmth and earth. The signature bandha technique — where yarns are tie-dyed before they ever touch the loom — gives the motifs their soft, feathered edges, a hallmark that machines can never imitate.
The borders bloom with temple kumbha peaks and traditional fish-and-flower buti, framed by fine ikat detailing along the length. Each dupatta is a testament to days of patient dyeing and weaving, no two ever exactly alike.
Drape it over a plain kurta, a saree, or a linen dress — a piece rooted in heritage, made to be worn and loved for years.
