Carved from the courtyards of Ajrakhpur, Kutch, this unstitched set carries the unhurried rhythm of hand block printing: stamp by stamp, dye bath by dye bath.
The kurta fabric opens with a printed neckline yoke and falls into a central panel of arched jharokhas, framed by cypress trees and blooming lotuses. On either side, bold hexagons in deep indigo and charcoal break the terracotta ground, while a scalloped floral border anchors the hem. The matching dupatta picks up the story with a rhythmic dash-and-dot field, finely patterned ajrakh borders, and hand-knotted tassels at the ends.
Printed on tussar, the fabric has a soft natural sheen and a gently textured slub that catches the light beautifully. It is a set that feels festive without trying too hard, and one that will stay in your wardrobe for years.
