Raw silk from wild cocoons. Hand-spun, hand-woven. No two threads exactly alike.

Tussar Gicha is spun from the short, broken fibres of tussar cocoons — giving the fabric its characteristic slubbed texture and matte warmth that no power-loom can replicate. The cocoa brown base is woven with soft rose-toned stripes that emerge entirely from the weave structure — no dye, no print, just the interplay of thread colour and light.

It wears beautifully for offices, pujas, and quiet dinners. Grows more supple and lustrous with every wash.

Wash Care
Recommended · Dry clean to preserve sheen and drape.
Hand wash option · Cold water, very mild detergent, minimal agitation. Never rub.
Do not · machine wash, bleach, wring, or tumble dry.
Dry · flat in shade. Do not hang wet — Tussar is heavy when wet and can stretch.
Iron · silk/medium setting, reverse side, with a pressing cloth.
First wash · slight colour release is normal — wash alone.
