Ajrakh Saree · Cream-Beige with Rust & Indigo

Block by block. Dip by dip. Ajrakh is one of India's oldest living print traditions — born in the salt flats of Kutch, built through up to fourteen natural-dye steps over several days.

This saree is set on a cream-beige base with intricate hand-block prints in rust red and indigo blue — traditional Ajrakh floral and geometric motifs arranged in horizontal bands across the body. The pallu has denser, layered patterning. The border is intricately detailed with fine geometric and floral work, finishing with delicate tassels. The blouse piece features a contrasting minimal black zigzag pattern on a light base — a considered design complement.

Wash Care
First wash · Soak alone in cold water with one tablespoon of salt for 20 minutes to set the natural dyes.
Ongoing · Hand wash cold, mild detergent, wash darks alone. Do not machine wash, bleach, or wring.
Dry · in shade, flat or wide hanger. Direct sunlight fades natural dyes over time.
Iron · medium heat, reverse side, while slightly damp.
Colour note · Slight variation between pieces is inherent to natural dyeing — not a defect.
