Block by block. Dip by dip. Ajrakh is one of India's oldest living print traditions — born in the salt flats of Kutch, built through up to fourteen natural-dye steps over several days.
This saree is set on a deep navy blue base — a rich canvas for circular motifs enclosing stylised bird designs in earthy red, off-white, and blue tones. The border carries classic Ajrakh geometry: symmetrical floral patterns, fine line work, and bold cross motifs in red, black, and white. The lower border transitions into a wave-like pattern in soft indigo, giving a contemporary lift to a deeply traditional design.
