Collection: Tussar

Tussar (also spelled Tasar) is a wild silk woven from the cocoons of Antheraea silkworms, found in the forests of Jharkhand, Bihar, and Chhattisgarh. Unlike mulberry silk, it is non-cultivated — gathered from trees like Arjun, Asan, and Som — making every yard a product of nature's own rhythm.

Tussar has a naturally uneven, grainy texture — slightly crisp to the touch, with a matte-to-subtle-sheen finish that catches light softly. It is lighter and more breathable than mulberry silk, with a gentle body that drapes with quiet elegance rather than heavy flow.
